Alvo hits best precious-metal grades yet at Palma’s Touro prospect
Alvo Minerals Limited (ASX: ALV) has reported significant assay results from its Phase 1 drilling program at the Touro prospect within the Palma Copper-Zinc Project in Central Brazil.
The latest results confirm the presence of high-grade precious metals, with hole PDT-124 returning 2.3m @ 1.9% CuEq (0.77% Cu, 57g/t Ag, and 0.43g/t Au), including a higher-grade zone of 0.5m @ 3.9% CuEq.
Notably, the Touro prospect continues to yield silver and gold grades reaching up to 111g/t and 2.66g/t, respectively - the highest levels recorded across the Palma project to date.
Exploration has extended shallow mineralisation at Touro over a strike length of approximately 1km, with mineralised zones remaining open both along strike and at depth.
Further depth potential was highlighted by hole PDT-132, which intercepted 10m of visual semi-massive and disseminated sulphides targeting a northern conductor.
Subsequent downhole electromagnetic (DHEM) surveys recorded a strong 674 siemens conductor, the highest value ever seen at the prospect.
