Alma Metals acquires 16 person exploration camp
- Alma Metals has acquired a fully equipped 16-person exploration camp for the Briggs Copper Project.
- The company's share price remained steady following the announcement of the asset acquisition.
- The infrastructure purchase is designed to more than double personnel capacity and accelerate pre-feasibility study programmes.
Alma Metals (ASX:ALM) acquired a 16-person exploration camp to expand operations at the Briggs Copper Project.
The infrastructure upgrade follows an infill core drilling programme that commenced at the end of April.
"Securing this infrastructure provides a step change in our ability to scale operations at Briggs," said Alma Metals Managing Director Dr Frazer Tabeart.
The company stated that the new camp will more than double on-site personnel capacity and enable a second drill rig.
Following the announcement, the Alma Metals share price was unchanged at $0.012.
The exploration project has reached approximately 1,600m drilled to date, with all holes encountering copper mineralisation.
Core from the first three drill holes is currently at a laboratory, with assays expected in four to five weeks.
