AIC Mines (ASX:A1M) has mobilised for its 2026 exploration campaign, signalling a period of high-intensity field activity at the Eloise Regional Project.
The company’s "transformational discovery program" comprises a robust combination of 7,600m of diamond drilling and approximately 1,500m of reverse circulation drilling, designed to test 12 priority targets within the copper-rich district.
Central to this year’s agenda is the pursuit of resources that could materially impact production at the Eloise processing facility.
Much of the activity is concentrated within a 20-kilometre radius of the plant, including follow-up drilling at Eloise South, Arlington, and Defiance—areas that yielded anomalous results during the 2025 program.
Additionally, an initial 4,500-metre drilling effort is underway at Jericho, targeting resource growth across the Jolly, Matilda, and Swagman shoots.
The campaign also looks toward the next generation of discoveries. Bolstered by a $203,500 Queensland Government grant, AIC Mines will commence drilling at the new Oro Grande prospect.
Managing Director Aaron Colleran emphasised that the 2026 programs are geared toward finding high-grade or large-scale deposits that exceed the current parameters of Eloise and Jericho.
Alongside deep drilling at the Iris to Big Foot trend, the company is advancing several early-stage projects through soil geochemistry and electromagnetic data collection.
At the time of reporting, AIC Mines' share price was $0.55.
