Aeris Resources (ASX:AIS) has received Development Consent from the NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure for its Constellation Project, a key milestone that enables the project to advance toward development.

Located in New South Wales' Cobar Basin, approximately 45km northeast of the Tritton processing plant, the project hosts a probable ore reserve of 2.3 million tonnes at 2.0% copper, 0.6 g/t gold, and 3 g/t silver, containing 47,000 tonnes of copper, 49,000 ounces of gold, and 228,000 ounces of silver.

The total mineral resource estimate stands at 7.6 million tonnes at 2.0% copper, 0.7 g/t gold, and 2.5 g/t silver.

Aeris Executive Chairman Andre Labuschagne said the consent, combined with the recently declared open pit ore reserve, positions Constellation as a potential major ore source for Tritton in the near term, and he thanked the NSW Government for its ongoing support.
