Australian retailer Adairs (ASX:ADH) appointed Matt Edmonds as its new Group CFO and company secretary, effective Feb. 9.
Edmonds joins the group following a distinguished ten-year tenure at Coles Group (ASX:COL) where he most recently served as general manager of finance, digital, and technology.
His career spans over 20 years of international experience, including senior leadership roles at global retail giants such as Tesco and Fresh & Easy.
The appointment is seen as a strategic move to bolster Adairs' digital and operational capabilities.
Group CEO and Managing Director Elle Roseby highlighted Edmonds’ unique blend of expertise in supply chain management, digital transformation, and business strategy, noting that his track record across multiple retail formats will be a significant asset to the group’s next phase of growth.
