  • Acusensus (ASX:ACE) signed an agreement with the State of Victoria to install two fixed road safety camera test sites along a freeway.
  • The initial contract is valued at approximately $1.7 million (excluding GST) over a two-year period, with potential extensions up to 10 years.
  • Following the announcement, the Acusensus share price was down at $1.22.

Acusensus (ASX:ACE) secured an agreement with the Victorian Government to design, supply, install, and commission fixed road safety camera systems across two freeway test locations.

The agreement marks a new domestic deployment for the business, contrasting with recent international growth initiatives such as its speed enforcement expansion in North America.

“We are delighted to have the opportunity to bring Acusensus technology into our home state of Victoria,” said Acusensus Managing Director Alexander Jannink.

The initial contract covers a two-year term valued at roughly $1.7 million excluding GST, with the State holding four two-year extension options that could extend the project to a 10-year total term while targeting complete system installation by mid-2027.

The equipment will focus on testing instantaneous and average speed enforcement without issuing driver infringements, positioning the company for potential long-term state infrastructure opportunities.

Following the announcement, the Acusensus share price was down at $1.22.

Acusensus develops artificial intelligence solutions designed to detect distracted driving, speeding, and seatbelt compliance across global markets.

The technology firm continues to expand its government contracts across Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom to grow its multi-year recurring revenue base.
