Activeport signs GOIP Globalnet in expansion deal

Activeport Group (ASX:ATV) executed an agreement with international carrier GOIP Globalnet to provide direct internet access and data centre interconnect connectivity across Australia through its Global Edge platform.

The 36-month deal represents the third major international carrier addition to the platform during its initial week of launch.

Under the terms of the deal, services will be purchased on a per-service-per-month basis, with monthly pricing ranging from $399 to $2,750 depending on the circuit configuration.

Activeport stated that the agreement is expected to drive recurring revenue growth as GOIP connects its network across 20 international nodes and more than 60 carrier-neutral data centres globally.

Following the announcement, the Activeport Group share price was up at $0.019.

The company provides network orchestration and automation software designed to connect enterprise IT environments directly to data centres and cloud platforms.

Activeport previously announced related carrier expansions across international markets to build its global network-to-network interface ecosystem.
