Activeport names new chief operating and commercial officer
Australian network automation software provider Activeport (ASX:ATV) announced the appointment of telecommunications veteran Michael Glynn as its new Chief Operating and Commercial Officer.
The move marks a milestone for the company as it accelerates international revenue growth, scales recurring software revenue, and expands its global partner ecosystem.
Glynn brings over 25 years of industry experience to the role, having previously helped scale high-profile next-generation network platforms, including Megaport, Superloop, and PIPE Networks.
Most recently, he spent seven years with PCCW Global, where he spearheaded the global go-to-market strategy for Console Connect, building it into a leading multi-award-winning Network-as-a-Service platform spanning over 60 countries.
At Activeport, Glynn will take charge of driving company strategy, product direction, and market expansion.
His deep expertise in carrier, enterprise, and wholesale connectivity will support the company’s growth across network automation, cloud connectivity, GPU orchestration, and AI infrastructure.
"I’m excited to be joining Activeport at such a pivotal moment in the industry," Glynn said. "As networks continue evolving towards software-defined and AI-enabled infrastructure, Activeport has built a highly differentiated orchestration platform for providers globally. I look forward to working with the team to accelerate our international growth."
