ABx Group (ASX:ABX) strengthened its exploration portfolio in northern Tasmania, announcing critical new lease acquisitions alongside targeted drilling campaigns aimed at unlocking high-value mineral resources.

The company has secured a new lease, EL14/2025, located in the Beaconsfield region directly north-west of Launceston.

ABx Group has filed a new lease application, EL1/2026, for the Nile Road area to the south-east, demonstrating a concerted effort to expand its regional footprint.

The company’s operations remain highly focused on its advanced rare earth elements resources situated to the west of Launceston.

Exploration and development work continues to progress across the core REE resource prospects, which include Deep Leads, Rubble Mound, and Wind Break.

Meanwhile, to the east of the central Launceston hub, ABx Group has recently completed extensive drill campaigns across a contiguous cluster of tenements.

The drilling activity is heavily concentrated around key prospects, including Portrush, T30, T8, and Nile, which are well-positioned alongside established regional infrastructure such as major roadways and railways.

The infrastructure proximity is expected to streamline logistical operations as exploration advances.
