6K Additive (ASX:6KA) executed a final US$27.4 million secured financing agreement with the Export-Import Bank of the United States to expand its manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania.

The final agreement follows previous board approval on December 4, 2025, which remained pending until documentation was completed.

"Finalising this agreement with EXIM marks an important milestone for 6K Additive and reinforces the strategic importance of expanding domestic production of the critical materials essential to America's defence and advanced manufacturing industries,” said 6K Additive CEO Frank Roberts.

The loan carries a six-year term, a 12-month interest-only repayment period, and a fixed commercial interest reference rate.

The company stated that the funds will support construction and equipment acquisitions to increase production of nickel, titanium, and refractory powders.

Following the announcement, the 6K Additive share price was down at $0.71.

The financing was approved under the Make More in America Initiative in coordination with the United States Department of War's Defence Production Act Title III programme.

The debt facility is intended to accelerate production capacity at the site from 1,600 tonnes per annum to over 6,000 tonnes per annum.
