Respiratory imaging business 4DMedical (ASX:4DX) reported a 77% increase in annual scan volume to 344,075 scans for FY26.

The surge in diagnostic activity follows steady adoption across established channels, capped by 105,970 scans generated in the fourth quarter alone.

Operating revenue in FY26 was $7.1 million, up 21% vs FY25, with gross margins exceeding 90%.

The firm stated that its multi-centre clinical programme at Massachusetts General Hospital is structured to expand the achievable market for CT:VQ in the United States to US$3 billion.

4DMedical MD/CEO and Founder Andreas Fouras said, "We finished it with CT:VQ authorised in six countries, adopted commercially by five of the most demanding academic institutions in the United States, contracted into a national outpatient network of more than 170 centres, and are scanning Australian patients within days of TGA approval."

Commercial traction was supported by a three-year agreement with SimonMed Imaging covering 170 sites across 10 US states, alongside TGA clearance in Australia in June.

The firm plans to build on new regulatory clearances in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia to grow its customer network.

Following the announcement, the 4DMedical share price was unchanged at $3.67.

Headquartered in Melbourne, the medical technology developer specialises in non-invasive four-dimensional software that captures detailed quantitative analysis of lung performance.

The technology works with standard hospital scanner hardware, enabling clinicians to identify respiratory conditions faster without exposing patients to high radiation levels.
