SpaceX has filed confidentially for an initial public offering, according to people familiar with the matter, bringing billionaire Elon Musk's rocket, satellite and AI company closer to delivering the biggest-ever listing. The company submitted its draft IPO registration to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the people said, asking not to be identified as the information isn't public. A representative for SpaceX didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. SpaceX could seek a valuation in the IPO of more than $1.75T, people familiar with the matter have said. The company acquired Musk's artificial intelligence startup xAI in a deal that valued the enlarged entity at $1.25T. Nike Inc. shares tumbled after the retailer gave a surprisingly gloomy outlook for the year ahead, complicating Chief Executive Officer Elliott Hill's efforts to turn around the business. Revenue is expected to decline 2% to 4% in the current quarter and will be down in the low single-digits for the rest of the calendar year, management told investors on an earnings call Tuesday evening. NASA astronauts are poised to lift off Wednesday on a 10-day journey that will slingshot them around the moon, marking humanity's return to the lunar vicinity for the first time in more than half a century.
