Binance expands crypto payments across Bhutan

- Binance Pay now works at more than 3,700 DK Bank QR merchants across Bhutan.
- Customers enter prices in Bhutanese ngultrum, while payments settle in USDT.
- Customers pay no extra fees under a promotion running through December 31.
Binance Pay now supports crypto payments at more than 3,700 merchants across Bhutan.
The service connects Binance Pay with DK Bank’s existing domestic QR payment network.
Binance said the integration with Bhutan’s QR network could support wider real-world crypto payments.
Customers scan existing QR codes and enter prices in Bhutanese ngultrum before confirming payment.
The system automatically converts payments into Tether’s USDT (CRYPTO:USDT) for settlement.
Eligible purchases include travel, hotels, dining and retail services at participating merchants.
Binance said customers will pay no additional fees under the promotion, which runs through December 31.
