The company's core operations are the Mereenie gas field in the Amadeus Basin, west of Alice Springs. The Mereenie gas field is the largest onshore gas field in the Northern Territory and supplies gas to industrial and commercial customers in the Northern Territory and Queensland.

- Mereenie Oil and Gas Field: has been operational for over 30 years, supplying hydrocarbon liquids to South Australia and natural gas to the Northern Territory. By the end of 2021, it had produced 17 MMbbls of oil and condensate and over 300 PJ of natural gas.
- Palm Valley Gas Field: consists of four active gas producers, one reinjection well, and five wells for pressure monitoring. It was temporarily shut down between 2015 and 2018 due to market constraints after producing 183 PJ.
- Dingo Gas Field Development: was finished in April 2015. It involved building wellhead facilities, gathering pipelines, compression, and a 50 km gas pipeline (Pipeline Licence PL 30) to Brewer Estate in Alice Springs, equipped with gas conditioning and custody transfer metering facilities.
- Surprise Oil Field: was the inaugural production licence granted in onshore Northern Territory after the 1993 passage of the Native Titles Act. This marked a significant milestone for Central and the region, as well as for the Traditional Owners of the land.
