Cognizant secures five-year Ingenico technology modernization agreement

Cognizant (NASDAQ:CTSH) announced a five-year agreement with payment technology company Ingenico to modernize its global technology infrastructure, applications and data operations.
The companies did not disclose the contract's financial value, although the agreement expands Cognizant's enterprise technology services into Ingenico's worldwide operations.
Cognizant said the engagement will incorporate artificial intelligence across Ingenico's infrastructure, cybersecurity and data systems to improve operational management and efficiency.
The services will cover end-user support, service desk operations, application maintenance, engineering, business applications and security infrastructure across Ingenico's technology environment.
Cognizant expects the modernization program to improve Ingenico's security and business agility.
Ingenico develops payment acceptance technology and services used by merchants and financial institutions, making secure and reliable technology operations central to its business.
The agreement follows Cognizant's October 19 expansion of its Google Cloud partnership, which includes a dedicated AI capability group involving more than 18,000 engineers.
