Cognizant revenue climbs 4.5% to $5.48 billion

Cognizant (NASDAQ:CTSH) reported second quarter 2026 revenue of $5.48 billion, up 4.5% year over year, supported by growth across its business segments.

Revenue increased 4.1% in constant currency, while Financial Services revenue grew 12% year over year and trailing 12-month bookings reached $29.1 billion.

“We delivered another quarter of revenue growth, margin expansion and strong bookings momentum,” said Cognizant Chief Executive Officer Ravi Kumar S.

Cognizant reported a GAAP operating margin of 15.9% and adjusted operating margin of 16.0%, while Q2 bookings declined 6% and the company completed its $634 million acquisition of Astreya.

Following the announcement, Cognizant's share price was unchanged at $80.30.

Cognizant repurchased shares during the quarter and drew $1 billion from its revolving credit facility to support business activities and capital allocation plans.

Cognizant also reaffirmed its 2026 outlook, including constant-currency revenue growth of 4.0%–5.5%, adjusted operating margin of 16.0%–16.2%, and adjusted diluted EPS of $5.70–$5.82.
