BlossomHill presents KRAS inhibitor data
- BlossomHill Therapeutics presented preclinical findings for BH-501284, an investigational pan-KRAS inhibitor, at an AACR pancreatic cancer conference.
- The company reported BH-501284 showed tumor regression in laboratory models of pancreatic, lung, and colorectal cancers with KRAS mutations.
- BlossomHill said it is advancing BH-501284 toward an investigational new drug submission planned for Q1 2027.
BlossomHill Therapeutics (NASDAQ:BLSM) presented preclinical findings for BH-501284, an investigational pan-KRAS inhibitor, showing activity across KRAS-mutant cancer models.
The company reported that laboratory testing using GDP-state KRAS G12D protein measured a target residence time of more than 54 hours, while BH-501284 extended KRAS signaling inhibition in KRAS-mutant cell lines.
BlossomHill said BH-501284 produced tumor regression in pancreatic, lung, and colorectal cancer models with KRAS G12V, G12D, and G12C mutations, while the company plans to advance the program toward an investigational new drug submission in Q1 2027.
BlossomHill Therapeutics develops small molecule therapies targeting cancer-related pathways, including KRAS mutations associated with multiple tumor types.
The company said BH-501284 showed deeper and more durable regression than certain tricomplex RAS inhibitors in a KRAS G12D pancreatic model and extended survival when combined with anti-PD-1 treatment in a KRAS G12D colorectal model.
