
Strategy sells $104.7M Bitcoin as reserve grows
- Strategy sold 1,638 BTC for US$104.7 million, reducing its holdings to 842,138 BTC.

- Strategy also sold US$290.6 million of common stock, lifting its US dollar reserve to US$4 billion.
Strategy sold 1,638 Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) for US$104.7 million, reducing its holdings to 842,138 BTC.
The Bitcoin sold for an average US$63,957, below Strategy's overall average acquisition cost of US$75,419 per BTC.
“Strategy increased its USD Reserve by $250M and repurchased $81M of $STRC,” said Strategy.
Strategy used US$52.4 million for preferred dividends and US$52.3 million towards an US$81.2 million STRC buyback.
The company also sold 3.01 million MSTR shares for US$290.6 million, helping lift its US dollar reserve to US$4 billion.
Strategy has not purchased Bitcoin since June and now holds 5,225 BTC fewer than its June peak of 847,363 BTC.
Its June capital framework allows up to US$1.25 billion in Bitcoin sales, with about US$321 million used so far.
At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $63,731.33.
