Chainalysis has valued Singapore’s crypto economy at $284 billion, up 55.4% year-on-year.

Institutional-platform activity surged 94% to $60 billion during the reporting period.

“The narrative has broadened beyond trading returns to include payments, treasury management, and market infrastructure,” according to Daniel Yang, head of compliance at QCP Group.

Singapore also recorded 30% growth in centralised-exchange flows and 69% growth in decentralised-exchange flows.

Across Central and Southeast Asia and Oceania, institutional platforms processed $152.3 billion, up 40% year-over-year.

Stablecoins are increasingly moving value across borders, with regional cross-border activity reaching 3.2 times domestic activity.

The Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam recorded 5.4 million small-value P2P transfers, representing 14.4% globally.

The report points to regulatory clarity and infrastructure as key conditions for wider digital-asset adoption across the region.
