Wallets linked to Bitwise’s HYPE ETF have bought $10.5 million of HYPE (CRYPTO:HYPE) after four inactive trading days.
The purchase brings tracked HYPE buying since the fund launched to $166.3 million.
The latest purchase was the largest tracked buy since $23.2 million of HYPE was added on August 27.
The four-day pause followed earlier purchases linked to the fund, showing that buying activity has not been continuous since launch.
The latest transaction adds to demand tracked through blockchain wallets associated with the HYPE ETF, rather than representing a separate public purchase announcement from Bitwise.
Bitwise launched its HYPE ETF in May, giving investors a regulated way to gain exposure to Hyperliquid’s native token.
The fund has also previously committed 10% of its management fee to buying and holding HYPE on its balance sheet, creating another potential source of token demand.
At the time of reporting, Hyperliquid price was $86.55.
