
Bitcoin shows eight bottom signals after 49% fall

- Bitcoin averaged a 12.8% gain after 90 days when eight to 12 signals were active.
- VanEck identified September to November as a possible accumulation period, not a confirmed bottom.
Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) has triggered eight of VanEck’s 12 capitulation signals after falling 49% from its October 2025 peak.
VanEck said all 12 signals entered capitulation zones at least once during the past three months.
The firm said its historical data does not show a clear short-term advantage after these signals appear.
Bitcoin gained an average of 12.8% over 90 days when eight to 12 signals were active, below its 15.2% average.
Over 180 days, Bitcoin averaged gains of 32% after capitulation clusters, compared with 36.3% across VanEck’s full dataset.
VanEck said the current decline has lasted about 10 months, while earlier bear markets lasted 11 months on average.
The firm placed a possible accumulation period between September and November, while warning that the indicators cannot identify an exact market bottom.
At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $69,802.59.
