Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) may enter an accumulation phase between September and November, according to VanEck.
VanEck said eight of its 12 capitulation signals were active on August 12, showing late-cycle stress.
The firm said the current correction had reached its tenth month since Bitcoin’s October 2025 peak.
VanEck’s historical data showed Bitcoin returned an average 12.8% over 90 days when eight to 12 signals were active.
The average return was 32% over 180 days, below the 36.3% baseline for comparable periods.
US spot Bitcoin ETPs recorded about $663 million in net inflows during VanEck’s 30-day measurement period.
Long-term holders reduced their Bitcoin holdings by 356,534 BTC, leaving 11.84 million BTC untouched for more than one year.
At the time of reporting, Bitcoin price was $64,330.54.
