Haranga Resources advances Lincoln underground drilling
- Haranga Resources launched its Phase 2 underground drilling programme at the Lincoln Gold Project.
- The exploration activity follows the recent appointment of CEO Patrick Mutz.
- The company aims to expand its mineral inventory across the historic Mother Lode Belt.
Haranga Resources (ASX:HAR) has commenced its Phase 2 underground drilling programme at the Lincoln Gold Project to expand high-grade mineralisation.
The development builds on the company's maiden resource model, which previously established 402,000 ounces of gold at 5.1 grammes per tonne.
Managing Director and CEO Patrick Mutz commented, "A general requirement for a development project such as the Lincoln gold redevelopment is to conduct additional drilling to enable, in time, the potential reclassification of mineral resources to ore reserves."
The operational milestone comes as newly appointed CEO Patrick Mutz takes charge of project development.
The campaign involves target extension testing along the 6-kilometre permit area to build multi-million-ounce potential.
Following the announcement the Haranga Resources share price was unchanged at $0.064.
The explorer previously transitioned executive leadership while securing key mining permits across the California gold site.
The company continues to deploy modern underground drilling rigs to evaluate mineralised repetitions at depth.
