- Adveritas has extended its TrafficGuard anti-fraud technology to cover advertising activity across OpenAI's ChatGPT platform.
- The expansion allows Adveritas to target advertising markets following ChatGPT's annualised ad revenue reaching US$1 billion as of Aug. 31.
- The move aims to diversify the business beyond sports betting and secure emerging AI-driven advertising channels.
Digital marketing anti-fraud specialist Adveritas (ASX:AV1) has extended its TrafficGuard software to detect ad fraud within ChatGPT.
The company expanded into AI advertising after ChatGPT reached an annualised ad revenue run rate of US$1 billion as at Aug. 31.
"The AI advertising market is rapidly growing and has the potential to become the most material revenue line for the company," stated Adveritas co-founder and CEO, Mathew Ratty.
TrafficGuard analyses ads served inside ChatGPT, detects invalid bot traffic, and verifies ChatGPT-originated paid clicks and conversions.
A deal with a US channel partner also delivered new clients, further diversifying the company beyond its sports betting core.
Adveritas stated that these developments significantly expand its total addressable market into new AI channels.
Following the announcement, the Adveritas share price was unchanged at $0.062.
The company's flagship product, TrafficGuard, helps businesses prevent digital ad fraud by blocking invalid traffic in real time.
This integration represents the business's latest strategic shift to capture ad verification market share in fast-growing software platforms.
