Ziff Davis (NASDAQ:ZD) announced Tuesday that it has reached a definitive agreement to divest its Connectivity business to Accenture in an all-cash transaction valued at $1.2 billion.

The deal marks a significant shift in strategy for Ziff Davis, as it offloads a high-profile portfolio of network intelligence and diagnostic brands.

The Connectivity division includes globally recognized names such as Ookla, Speedtest, Ekahau, Downdetector, and RootMetrics.

These platforms are widely utilized by service providers, regulators, and consumers to monitor and optimize fixed broadband, mobile, and Wi-Fi performance.

The $1.2 billion purchase price represents a substantial premium for a division that generated $231 million in revenue in 2025, accounting for approximately 16% of Ziff Davis’ total annual sales.

For Accenture, the acquisition bolsters its capabilities in network design and incident detection, allowing the consulting giant to offer more granular technical insights to its enterprise clients.

Ziff Davis expects to classify the division’s financial results as discontinued operations starting in the first quarter of fiscal 2026.

The transaction is subject to standard closing adjustments, regulatory approvals, and taxes, with a final closing expected in the coming months.
