TransUnion (NYSE:TRU) has appointed Sayan Chakraborty and Charlotte Yarkoni to its Board of Directors, effective January 5, 2026.
The move brings high-level cloud and artificial intelligence expertise to the credit reporting firm as it looks to modernize its global information platforms.
Sayan Chakraborty, 58, joins after a decade-long tenure at Workday, where he most recently served as Co-President and President of Product and Technology.
A specialist in machine learning, Chakraborty joined Workday following its 2015 acquisition of his AI-analytics startup, GridCraft.
His career includes leadership roles at Oracle and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and he has previously advised the White House on ethical AI policy.
Charlotte Yarkoni, 56, brings extensive experience from Microsoft Corp., where she served as President of Commerce, Ecosystems, Cloud, and AI until late 2025.
At Microsoft, she led the global infrastructure for Azure's digital commerce and developer relations.
Yarkoni also maintains a seat on the board of financial technology leader Fiserv, providing TransUnion with additional cross-sector insight into the payments and banking landscape.
With these additions, TransUnion aims to accelerate its transition from a traditional credit bureau into a tech-first global data and analytics entity.
The company currently operates in over 30 countries, serving both enterprise clients and consumers with risk-assessment tools.
