Fintech lender Plenti Group (ASX:PLT) appointed Selena Verth as its CFO, effective July 1.
The strategic hire comes as the company enters its "Horizon 2" growth phase, signaling a shift toward rapid scaling and operational sophistication.
Verth, a seasoned financial executive with over 25 years of experience, joins Plenti following a successful tenure as CFO of the ASX-listed global payments platform OFX Group, where she managed finances for an organisation generating $200 million in revenue across nine countries.
Verth's extensive resume includes 15 years at GE Capital, where she held various leadership roles across internal audit, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management.
In her new role, Verth will oversee the company's balance sheet strategy, treasury, investor relations, and financial reporting.
Plenti CEO Adam Bennett highlighted the timing of the appointment as a "critical inflection point" for the business. "Selena’s track record in M&A integration and cost discipline will be invaluable as we continue to expand our loan book and drive operating leverage," Bennett stated.
At the time of reporting, Plenti Group's share price was $1.04.
