Australian workforce solutions powerhouse PeopleIN (ASX:PPE) appointed co-founder and industry veteran Tom Reardon as its new CEO and Managing Director.
Effective April 17, Reardon will succeed Ross Thompson, who is departing the company to pursue an international opportunity.
The move is described by the board as a deliberate step in a long-term succession plan designed to maintain the momentum of the company's aggressive growth strategy.
Reardon, who has been instrumental in scaling the firm’s high-performing engineering, trades, and labour divisions, steps into the role with thirty years of sector expertise.
Board Chair Glen Richards emphasised that Reardon’s deep operational knowledge makes him the natural choice to lead PeopleIN's charge toward becoming Australia's largest and most efficient recruitment entity, specifically within the construction, defence, and professional services sectors.
Reardon expressed his commitment to building upon the "strategic transformation" initiated by his predecessor to deliver enhanced value for shareholders and candidates alike.
The company proactively disclosed an unaudited normalised EBITDA of $16.1 million and a healthy balance sheet featuring a net debt ratio of 0.5 times ongoing earnings.
At the time of reporting, PeopleIN’s share price was $0.68.
