
Optical Cable Corporation (NASDAQ:OCC) today reported strong results for fiscal 2025, showing a significant improvement in profitability despite a slight dip in net sales.
For the year ended October 31, 2025, the company saw gross profit rise by 24.1%, reaching $22.6 million, and gross margin increase to 30.9% from 27.3% in fiscal 2024.
The company's consolidated net sales totaled $73 million for fiscal 2025, a slight dip from the previous year, while the net loss for the year narrowed to $1.5 million, or $0.18 per share, compared to a larger loss of $4.2 million in fiscal 2024.
The fourth quarter saw net sales of $19.8 million, with a modest net income of $49,000, or $0.01 per share.
OCC's SG&A expenses for the year were $23 million, in line with expectations.
The company also highlighted its July 2025 strategic collaboration with Lightera, which is expected to drive future growth.
