Nitro has launched a new accelerator programme offering up to $500,000 each to execution-focused startups building on the Monad blockchain, with total backing of up to $7.5 million.
The three-month hybrid programme will support as many as 15 early-stage teams split between New York and remote work, prioritising consistent product shipping and product–market fit over token metrics or headline valuations.
Nitro said it is designed to address a common crypto funding problem where teams raise capital quickly but fail to deliver production-ready products, structuring the programme around execution and validation instead.
The inaugural cohort will focus on infrastructure, developer tools and user-facing applications on Monad, with preference given to founders already demonstrating steady development progress.
Backers including Paradigm, Electric Capital, Dragonfly and Castle Island Ventures will mentor teams and participate in the programme’s Demo Day rather than acting as passive investors.
The accelerator launches as more than $108 million has already flowed into the Monad ecosystem, alongside $244 million raised by Monad itself ahead of its November 2025 mainnet launch.
Nitro said its approach reflects a shift in crypto funding toward disciplined execution as market conditions reward delivery over hype.
