Metallium (ASX:MTM) has completed a $75 million strategic capital raising, led by US-based institutional investors.
The raising was conducted at $0.84 per share, representing an 8.7% discount to the company’s last closing price and an 8.8% discount to its five-day volume-weighted average price.
The transaction significantly increases US institutional participation in Metallium’s share register and highlights growing investor interest in critical metals processing and technology platforms.
The strong demand from US institutions follows key operational milestones, including a long-term e-scrap supply agreement with Glencore, commissioning of the Gator Point Technology Campus in Texas, active trading of Metallium ADRs on the OTCQX, and the selection of its flash joule heating technology for ElementUSA's red mud demonstration facility in Louisiana.
Managing Director Michael Walshe said the capital raise underscores confidence in Metallium’s US-focused strategy and will accelerate commercialisation, expand processing capacity, secure feedstock, and support the company's planned NASDAQ listing in Q3 2026.
At the time of reporting, Metallium's share price was $0.86.
