ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES (NASDAQ:IMOS), a leading provider of outsourced semiconductor assembly and test services, reported unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$2,143.6 million (US$68.4 million) for February 2026.

While the figure represents a 6.4% decline from the previous month, it marks a robust 22.1% increase compared to the same period last year.

The year-over-year growth was driven primarily by a significant spike in demand for memory solutions tailored for data centers and artificial intelligence applications.

ChipMOS noted that current market demand is outstripping its existing capacity, a trend led by the rapid expansion of AI infrastructure and the high-bandwidth memory requirements of next-generation server clusters.

The slight month-over-month decrease is largely attributed to fewer working days in February and typical post-holiday seasonality in the broader consumer electronics sector.

However, the strong annual growth underscores a fundamental shift toward high-end industrial and enterprise memory demand, which has offset softer performance in the traditional smartphone and display driver markets.
