Belararox (ASX:BRX) announced a restructuring of its executive team, headlined by the appointment of Will Dix as CEO, effective April 1.
Dix, a seasoned industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in base and precious metals, joins the company with a distinguished track record.
His career highlights include a pivotal role in the LionOre exploration team, which delivered the multi-million ounce Thunderbox Gold Project and the Waterloo Nickel discovery.
Beyond his technical prowess in uranium and mineral exploration, Dix brings extensive expertise in capital raisings, mergers, and corporate divestments, having recently served as Managing Director of Xenora Minerals.
Non-Executive Chairman Neil Warburton emphasised that Dix's appointment arrives at a critical juncture as the company ramps up drilling operations at the TMT Project in Argentina and the Kalahari Copper Project in Botswana.
Dix expressed optimism regarding these assets, noting the high demand for copper and the substantial exploration upside for investors over the coming 24 months.
Chris Gale will transition from his current role as executive director to a non-executive director position upon Dix's commencement.
Furthermore, the company has promoted Christian Blaser to General Manager – Exploration.
Blaser, who previously managed the Argentinian portfolio, will now oversee all exploration activities across both South America and Africa, leveraging over 15 years of industry experience, including a significant eight-year tenure at BHP.
At the time of reporting, Belararox's share price was $0.093.
