Baidu (NASDAQ:BIDU) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter revenue of RMB32.7 billion, reflecting a 5% sequential increase.
Baidu Core revenue from AI-powered businesses reached RMB11.3 billion in the fourth quarter and RMB40 billion for the full year 2025, representing a 48% year-over-year increase for the full year, driven by strong momentum in AI Cloud, generative AI services including Ernie Bot, and related intelligent solutions.
For the full year 2025, total revenue was RMB129.1 billion, down 3% from the prior year.
Operating loss totaled RMB5.8 billion, primarily due to a RMB16.2 billion non-cash impairment charge related to certain investments and assets.
Non-GAAP operating income was RMB15 billion for the year.
The results reflect continued investment in artificial intelligence infrastructure and applications, including large language models and cloud computing capacity expansion, which contributed to revenue growth in high-margin AI segments despite softer performance in traditional online marketing services.
