Auravelle Metals (ASX:AUV) has launched a new exploration program at its Nuckulla Hill Project, targeting high-priority gold prospects along the prolific Yarlbrinda Shear Zone.
Central to this phase is a comprehensive 9,400-line kilometre aerial magnetic survey.
By utilising 25-metre line spacing—a substantial improvement over the previous 200-metre data—the company aims to gain high-resolution structural insights across a 40km strike extent.
The area is situated near Barton Gold's 1.6Moz Tunkillia Gold Project, highlighting the region’s significant scale and potential.
Parallel to the geophysical work, Auravelle is advancing technical studies at its flagship Sheoak prospect.
The company has recently completed down-hole televiewer surveys to map precise mineralisation controls that traditional RC drill chips cannot reveal.
Furthermore, preliminary metallurgical test work has commenced, using bottle roll leaching analysis to assess gold recovery characteristics.
Managing Director Andrew Muir noted that work is progressing rapidly across multiple fronts to refine targets and build on recent drilling results, such as the 28m @ 3.4g/t Au interval previously reported.
The company is on track to begin a new round of infill and extensional RC drilling at Sheoak within the coming weeks.
At the time of reporting, Auravelle Metals' share price was $0.16.
