Apertum marked its first anniversary by highlighting a year of rapid development, community expansion, and growing relevance in the blockchain sector.
The Layer-1 network said its first year demonstrated that accessibility, decentralisation, and real-world utility can operate together within a single blockchain ecosystem.
Apertum stated that its progress over the past year has contributed to decentralised finance growth through a secure, transparent, and community-driven infrastructure.
The project credited its expanding global community as the primary driver behind its ecosystem development and adoption momentum.
According to Apertum, collaboration and shared vision within the community have shaped both technical progress and international reach.
The network was launched by the Apertum Foundation on February 1, 2025, marking the official start of its Layer-1 operations.
On February 19, 2025, Apertum reached a further milestone with the launch of its native token, $APTM, on the Apertum decentralised exchange.
The token launch expanded on-chain participation and strengthened liquidity across the ecosystem.
Apertum reported that it is now listed on eight centralised exchanges, including MEXC, BingX, and BitMart.
The project said these listings provide access to more than 120 million traders worldwide.
Apertum noted that exchange availability has supported early liquidity growth and broader market exposure.
On-chain data showed more than 8.6 million transactions processed within the first year of operation.
The network also surpassed 380,000 unique wallet addresses during the same period.
Apertum confirmed the deployment of several decentralised applications, signalling early developer activity.
The platform said its infrastructure demonstrated scalability under growing transaction volumes.
An independent audit by CertiK reported zero identified vulnerabilities across the network.
Apertum stated that the audit positioned it among the most secure blockchain networks currently operating.
Integration with CoinMarketCap increased transparency and visibility for the project’s token and metrics.
In 2025, Apertum received the Top Layer-1 Blockchain Award at both the FinanceFeeds Awards and the Crypto.News Awards.
The awards recognised the project’s focus on security, scalability, and decentralised governance.
