Amplitude Energy (ASX:AEL), an East Coast gas producer, reported a rise in profitability for the first half of the 2026 financial year.
The company’s net profit after tax more than tripled, reaching $26.2 million for the six months ended Dec. 31, 2025, compared to $7.57 million during the same period the previous year.
The financial growth was supported by a 6% increase in sales revenue, totalling $141.5 million.
Underlying earnings (EBITDAX) also saw a 9% rise to $100.3 million.
Management attributed these record operational and financial metrics largely to the performance of the Orbost Gas Processing Plant in Victoria, which operated above its nameplate capacity during the half.
At the time of reporting, Amplitude Energy's share price was $2.22.
