Accent Resources (ASX:ACS) has launched a specialised hydrogeological exploration program at its flagship Magnetite Range Project.
Located in the Mid-West region of Western Australia, approximately 260km southeast of Geraldton, the project has moved into a critical phase of infrastructure development.
The latest campaign focuses on securing the water resources essential for the long-term viability of the site’s mining operations.
The exploration program utilises aircore drilling technology, a method favored for its efficiency in penetrating unconsolidated ground to reach deeper aquifers.
The company has planned an extensive 9,100-meter drilling schedule, which will encompass up to 91 individual holes across its 100% owned tenements (E59/2879, E59/2962, and E59/2963).
The regional initiative is not merely about locating water; it is a data-intensive mission designed to measure water quality and determine initial estimates of potential yields.
Securing a reliable water supply is a foundational step for the Magnetite Range Project, as it supports both processing requirements and site sustainability.
By identifying high-yield aquifers early, Accent Resources aims to de-risk the project's operational future.
