UNICEF mobilised one of its largest winter aid stockpiles for Gaza for the twenty twenty five to twenty twenty six season.
More than one hundred thirty four thousand winter clothing kits have already been distributed.
Over five hundred seventy two thousand blankets have reached displaced families.
UNICEF has also delivered tarpaulins mattresses tents and high performance shelters.
Additional winter supplies remain in the pipeline for coming weeks.
We see so many children walking across the rubble at the moment in their bare feet.

Winter kits include jackets hats gloves scarves shoes and socks for children of all ages.
Families fleeing shelling arrived at camps with only the clothes they were wearing.
Floodwater has surrounded tents in areas such as Beach camp in Gaza City.
The kids need sweaters they are small and they have to keep warm I can handle it but the children cannot.

She said the UNICEF kit contained everything her children urgently needed.
UNICEF is also providing digital cash payments to vulnerable households.
One hundred thousand families are receiving payments of one hundred forty dollars each.
Restoring water and sanitation services is another major focus of the response.
In October UNICEF reached an average of one point two million people with hygiene services.
Daily water trucking operations are supplying nearly six hundred thousand people.
Solid waste collection continues across seventeen municipalities.
Flood prevention work has been completed in high risk areas.
Repairs to damaged wells and sewage networks have resumed.
Twenty one large water tanks have been installed at shelters and water points.
UNICEF said sustained access is critical to prevent further loss of life.
