England captain Ben Stokes left the field on the fourth morning of the fifth Ashes Test after suffering a right adductor injury at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Stokes bowled 10 balls before pulling up in his follow-through and clutching his groin, forcing him to return to the dressing room.
Vice-captain Harry Brook assumed on-field leadership as Stokes was assessed by medical staff.
Ben Stokes is currently being assessed for a right adductor complaint. We will provide an update when more information is available.

The injury compounds a difficult tour for England, who lost the Ashes after defeats in the opening three Tests.
England face a battle to avoid a 4-1 series loss after Australia dominated much of the third day in Sydney.
Stokes admitted before the series that winning the Ashes in Australia was a personal ambition that has not materialised.
