Playnance has launched GCOIN staking on its PlayW3 platform, with more than 250 million tokens locked within hours as users rushed to participate ahead of the token generation event.
The new mechanism allows GCOIN holders to stake tokens and earn ecosystem-based rewards, while reducing circulating supply and encouraging long-term alignment within the platform.

The staking programme offers lock-up periods ranging from six to 18 months, with higher rewards tied to longer commitments and a minimum participation threshold of 1,000 GCOIN.
Rewards are distributed based on ecosystem activity rather than fixed emissions, linking user incentives directly to the performance of Playnance’s social gaming and entertainment products, and following the launch GCOIN activity was unchanged at $0.
The initiative comes ahead of the GCOIN Token Generation Event on March 18, positioning staking as a core component of the platform’s economic model.
Playnance, founded in 2020, is building a Web3 entertainment ecosystem spanning social gaming, prediction markets and trading environments, with infrastructure designed to onboard mainstream users through non-custodial, on-chain systems.
