Korea University’s Blockchain Research Institute has partnered with Injective (CRYPTO:INJ) to join its global blockchain ecosystem as a validator.
The collaboration aims to strengthen links between academic research and live blockchain infrastructure.
The institute operates under Korea University’s College of Informatics and focuses on blockchain and digital asset research.
Since 2020, the institute has led joint research projects and educational programmes on blockchain use in finance and public services.
The new partnership builds on prior cooperation and reflects a shift towards applied research and international engagement.
Under the agreement, Korea University will act as a validator, supporting Injective’s network operations and security.
Validator participation will contribute to ecosystem stability and the blockchain’s global expansion strategy.
The partnership opens the door for joint research into real-world asset tokenisation and on-chain financial structures in Korea.
Research efforts will consider regulatory frameworks, local market conditions, and institutional requirements.
