It details Smith’s defence of two criminal investigations.

Trump pleaded not guilty and the cases later ended after re election.
Video of nearly eight hours of closed door deposition testimony was released.
Smith said charging decisions were based on Trump’s actions alone.
He said investigators developed proof beyond a reasonable doubt.
Smith said evidence showed Trump retained highly classified documents after leaving office.
He said the material was stored at a private social club.
Smith said Trump repeatedly attempted to obstruct justice.
The deposition took place on 17 December.
Smith was appointed by attorney general Merrick Garland.
He wrote a report supporting charges before leaving office.
The cases were dismissed after Trump regained control of government.
Democrats questioned Smith about fears of retaliation.
Smith said he expected retribution.
