Sun Silver (ASX:SS1) has significantly expanded its Maverick Springs Silver-Gold Project in Nevada, USA, by staking an additional 427 lode claims covering approximately 35.7km2.
This move increases the company's total landholding by 219%, substantially enlarging the project’s exploration footprint.
The newly acquired claims are strategically located to the north and south of the existing mineral resource, targeting prospective extensions of known silver and gold mineralisation.
The expansion enhances Sun Silver's potential for new discoveries and secures land for potential future development infrastructure.
"The staking of these additional claims reflects our commitment to growing shareholder value while maintaining disciplined capital management," said a Sun Silver spokesperson.
