Felix Gold (ASX:FXG) has marked an operational milestone following the receipt of a bulk sampling permit from the Alaska Department of Natural Resources.

The regulatory approval authorises the company to extract and handle approximately 1,600 tons (roughly 1,450 metric tonnes) of high-grade antimony ore from the NW Array prospect, situated within the broader Treasure Creek Antimony Project.

The permit specifically targets massive stibnite veins, which have previously yielded exceptional grades of up to 89.2% antimony-bearing minerals.

The authorisation is valid through Dec. 31, 2029, ensuring multi-year operational continuity for the explorer.

Executive Director Joseph Webb described the development as a fundamental shift in the project's timeline, noting that the combination of high-grade, near-surface, and "clean" mineralisation is extremely rare in the Western world.

Unlike typical projects that require years of preliminary production studies, this permit allows Felix Gold to bypass traditional delays and move directly into extracting meaningful quantities of ore.

The bulk sampling program is designed to provide the necessary feedstock to advance toll treatment options and assist in defining US smelter development solutions.

Mobilisation of equipment and personnel is already underway, with site operations expected to commence in the coming weeks.

By demonstrating a clear pathway to near-term production, Felix Gold aims to solidify its position as a key player in the strategic minerals sector.

At the time of reporting, Felix Gold's share price was $0.26.
