Evolution Energy Minerals (ASX:EV) has recommenced soil sampling at its Chikundo Copper Project, located within the company's highly prospective Chilalo tenure in southern Tanzania.
This phase marks the final stage of EV1’s systematic geochemical campaign, designed to evaluate the full scale and potential of the Chikundo copper system.
The current programme focuses on the Nangurugia prospect, where 136 soil samples will be collected, bringing the total number of samples across the Chikundo Project to 1,558.
Sampling activities are expected to be completed within the next two weeks, subject to weather and site conditions, with the collected samples to be dispatched to Johannesburg for detailed geochemical analysis.
These results will provide high-quality data to refine final drill targeting and support the design of an initial RC drilling program.
