Enterprise Metals has announced high-grade assay results from its maiden reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Cuddingwarra North rare earth element (REE) project in Western Australia.

The 14-hole program targeting the Emily Well prospect saw 13 holes intersect total rare earth oxides (TREO) above 300ppm, with 10 holes exceeding 400ppm.

“These REE drill results have confirmed the high-grade clay hosted rare earth nature of the Cuddingwarra North Prospect, which is hosted in the weathered portion of the Emily Well volcanoclastic unit," said Enterprise Metals Director Dermot Ryan.

Standout hole CWAC004 returned an intersection of 25 metres at 1,099ppm TREO from 41 metres depth, including a higher-grade zone of 9 metres at 2,125ppm TREO.

The mineralisation is characterised by significant enrichment in high-value magnet rare earths, including dysprosium and terbium (DyTb), which are essential for electric vehicle motors.

Initial results indicate that the mineralisation is associated with deep weathering zones within felsic volcanoclastic units, consistent with the formation of ion-adsorption style deposits.

The company now plans further infill and step-out drilling to determine the full extent of the discovery across its substantial land holding northwest of Cue.

At the time of reporting, Enterprise Metals' share price was $0.004.
