DroneShield (ASX:DRO) has secured a $8.2 million contract for delivery to a western military end-customer through an in-country reseller, a wholly-owned subsidiary of a multi-billion-dollar global publicly listed company.
The order covers handheld counter-drone systems, associated accessories, spare kits, and software updates.
With the hardware already on hand, DroneShield expects delivery to be completed by the end of 2025 or in early Q1 2026, with full payment anticipated in Q1 2026.
Over the past seven years, the company has received 38 contracts from this reseller, totaling over $9.6 million, though there are no obligations for additional contracts.
DroneShield emphasised that the identity of the customer is not considered price-sensitive information and that the announcement contains all material information relevant to the contract's impact on the company's securities.
The new order contributes to a record $97.7 million in locked-in revenues heading into 2026, marking the strongest start to a year in the company's history.
