DroneShield (ASX:DRO) has secured a $6.2 million standalone contract through an in-country reseller for delivery to a military end-customer in the Asia Pacific region, strengthening its presence in the defence market.
The reseller is a wholly owned subsidiary of a multi-billion-dollar, globally listed group that is contractually mandated to supply solutions to a major Asia Pacific military government department.
The contract covers selected third-party hardware interoperable with DroneShield's DroneSentry-C2 command-and-control software platform, with delivery and cash payment expected in 2026. No additional material conditions are required to be met.
The company noted it has received 14 standalone contracts from the same reseller over the past two years, totalling more than $48 million, although there is no obligation for further contracts.
DroneShield said it does not consider the identity of the counterparty to be materially price-sensitive and confirmed the announcement contains all information necessary to assess the contract’s impact on its securities.
