BNK Banking (ASX:BBC) announced a leadership reshuffle, with CEO Allan Savins set to step down following his notice period ending July 2.
Taking the helm in the interim is the company's current CFO, Steve Kinsella, whose appointment commenced on April 2.
Kinsella, a banking veteran with over 30 years of experience at institutions such as CBA and Westpac, is credited with driving BNK’s recent return to profitability since joining in late 2023.
Filling the vacancy left by Kinsella, Financial Controller Judith Newman has been elevated to interim CFO, a role she previously held during a transition period in 2023.
BNK Chairman Jon Denovan praised Savins for his "significant contribution" and strategic growth since 2018, noting that the board is now focused on securing a permanent successor while maintaining the company's current momentum.
